In our fast-paced world full of technology, messages of inadequacy, and competition, children are living in a state of overwhelm and confusion. Yoga provides a safe space for children to slow down and understand that relaxing is not only ok but encouraged. 

Children who practice yoga learn self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making to help them thrive as they transition to adulthood. As a result, they are more likely to be positive and optimistic about life and less likely to succumb to anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

Benefits of Yoga

Yoga physically enhances a child's flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. Through basic and challenging yoga poses, partner poses, group poses and yoga games we introduce kids to yoga's true meaning: union, expression, and honor for oneself and the community that surrounds them. 

We use mindfulness activities, music and stories to bring the poses alive in a more visceral and relatable way. By inviting creativity into our class we spark imagination and promote inner-strength, confidence and self-esteem; encouraging a feeling of well-being and respect for others which results in a greater love for one's self, inside and out.
